In carpet cleaning, as with most things in life, you get what you pay for. Usually, the best VALUE is not the most expensive, nor the least expensive service, but rather a quality company that will provide a quality service at a fair price.
In general, the national average cost of carpet cleaning is $0.28 per square foot. Keep in mind, however, there are a lot of variables in this price:
1) The size of the job -- the larger the job, the less expensive it will be per square foot.

3) The location of the job -- in the big city, most companies will charge an extra fee for jobs on the third floor or higher and/or for jobs where parking is difficult.
